In-Service Design Verification, Written Scheme of Examination, Code Compliance Checks & System Gap Analysis

AIM in-service verification undertaken by us is documented in written integrity management schemes. The main steps in developing these schemes usefully summarize the entire management process as follows:

  • Identify the elements that are critical to maintenance of integrity (i.e. the Integrity Critical Element)
  • For each Integrity Critical Element, identify the physical inventory of components
  • For each Integrity Critical Element, identify its high level Asset Integrity function / purpose / “Goal”
  • For each Critical Element, define the Integrity Performance Standards that must be achieved in delivery of the integrity function
  • Define the Assurance activities that must be performed to maintain the Integrity Performance Standards
  • As required, define Verification activities to be carried out to confirm that the established arrangements for integrity management continue to be suitable.
